Nice helicopter. Looks perfect size. There are a lot of zombies.

Four walker is far too many walkers.  They hadn't all come at him at once technically but if anybody asked he was game for a bit of hyperbole;  Bullshitting was a privilege lone survivors earned.  Maybe not quite alone.  He couldn't abandon his best cat to the hordes of walkers and her pestering had saved him a couple times when he had almost been caught pants down during a nap.  It was really her fault though.  Little monster wanted some jerky and he couldn't say no.  As he stepped into a SlimJim he felt the cat bump into his leg for her take of the spoils, muzzle covered in gore.

"Oh Princess! Not such a picky eater now but that shit stinks!  No more or I will bathe that nasty habit out of you!"

Goblyn and I are ready for Walker bashing adventures in All Out War.  I'm happy with the Hero Forge figure as the customization and quality of the print were both quite nice.  The price was higher than I would have liked but I don't intend to use the models to build a unit or an army so it's OK in the big picture.  To make a one off of yourself (and your cat; It came as part of the survivor model) I'd recommend it.

Excellent. They are wonderful figures, well painted.

I look forward to hearing of their adventures.

Do you have rules for your cat (or is it like reality where they abide by no rules?).

Reality would be a cruel mistress in the case of my cat.  Definitely a runner but the "too good for productivity" rule would prevent her from grabbing nice stuff.  "Feed me, feed me" might require meat or she would function as an alarm clock that never leaves my side.  I prefer the Hobbes-esque version of my cat that would like Shiva :D .

Your hero forge model is excellent. I'll have to go and play with their designing tool again. Have they updated it with more modern and sci fi options nowadays?

I'm not certain, I've only ordered the one model from them.  I do know that they recently added a zombie figure to lot though.

I ordered a set of TT Combat's resin camp set.  They are an excellent little kit at a fair price.  I probably could have made some tents but the durability and good price made it a better alternative.  I will probably pick up another set so I can run the Days Gone Bye scenarios and there is a second set with other camping fun bits to be had as well.

Looking great mate, as always. Awesome shots as well. And those trees work so well. Much nicer than standard model trees with the volume they have.

Thanks all.  The trees have been a labour of love and hate.  I made the first ones early in the year and hated making them but loved the look of them.  It took me forever to get the clumps glued to the armatures with PVA them another long stretch lathering them with watered down PVA to get them durable to be handled casually.  I got disgusted before there was a forest.  When I decided to carry on and go from stands to a reasonable wood I found spray adhesives and the turnover to build the trees went from arduous to easy.  Unfortunately I didn't bother to reinforce them with a coating of PVA.  Since then my quality control engineer (cat) has been assuring me that these trees don't have the integrity of their fore bearers.  Before I stow them I am going to have to give the second generation forest a once over, then brush on the PVA to fortify them against further feline assaults.  It takes a little time but the spray on the front end still dramatically cut the build time.

And to think you made the effort to get him/her made in miniature. Sure, it was a bonus add-on, but that's not the point.
