Fistful of Lead: little Little Bighorn
« on: 03 February 2017, 08:26:01 PM »
This was a scaled down version of the last bit of the battle, featuring the iconic last stand of Custer (if he was even still alive at that point). Turned out to be great fun:

Best part is you can have the scenario for FREE at War-games Vault:

Enjoy!

Just came across this, a hidden gem.
'So do all who see such times. But that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that we are given.'

Nice looking. Though I think you've scale it down too far to count it as a battle - just a skirmish on the same ground.  Not to worry, though, that explains why the village is on the wrong side of the river!   :D

One of the lads couldn’t make the game so we halved the figures, drew cards, and I got the 7th Cavalry. The Indians closed quickly heedless of casualties…

The ‘Boy General’ put up a hell of a fight, killing the Cheyenne’s war chief, The Great Lame Beaver…

Then gets stabbed in the back by Chief Chicken Hawk Squawking…

The Boy General staggers to the top of Last Stand Hill, only to fall to a headshot from the Indians in the distance…

Today we go home by a road we do not know… Hoka Hey!!!
