There's already a long running discussion on that here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=56950.165

Another range swallowed up by Warlord, never to emerge...

Mind you, they did eventually release the Hicks-sculpted Siege of Malta range (originally Arsenal Miniatures). That only took about five years. So maybe in a couple of years time...  ::)

You're certainly banging the drum for this Kickstarter... Is it your project by any chance?  ;)

It's a shame the figures aren't half a patch on the Pro Gloria / Warlord plastics. Or indeed the metals, which are available.
The clothing detail looks well done, but the poses themselves are very static - old-school style sculpting. Not my cup of tea personally, although as ever, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If I were doing landsknechts again now in metal, I'd still stick to the Perrys' range for Foundry and the Paul Hicks sculpts for Pro Gloria, now Warlord.
But what I'd really like to see is those plastic landsknechts finally put in an appearance. Come on Warlord. Pull your finger out!

It's not my project.  I saw it, liked it, including the price/figure, and want to see the campaign reach the artillery crew.  And yes, the Perrys' and Hicks' figures seem top notch.

Richard, your chance is to tell them Landsknecht were a special unit in WW2 or Weird WW2. Then they will release it immediately. Or ask Mr. priestley if Landsknecht could be used for Antares. All the other stuff bought by them became unloved stepchild... :(

I like that pike unit.  And that new head.  When will the latter be released?

I don't think they'll be done anytime soon which is a shame, lots of facility for variation and conversion in the greens but hey ho.

That's a rather nice head Oliver, the face is very characterful.

It's a craggy countenance straight from a woodcut. Wonderful Oliver.

Unfortunately, I really want some in plastic! ;)

This is really going to be an expensive year for me , too many good figures being created.
Decent Pavia era light cavalry is what I want and some engineers.
