Supersystem 3 vs Supersystem 4

I recently purchased Supersystem 4 but can't find any Marvel and DC character conversions. So I just bought SS3 as there's a wealth of converted heroes on the SS Yahoo Forum.

Now is there a big difference in quality in the 4th edition? Am I really losing out by opting for the earlier SS3 instead?

The prospect of attempting to convert the entire universes of Marvel and DC is just too daunting to me.

I can't really speak to this. I think 4th ed. improved a lot of things with SS, but a lot of folks like and are happy with 3rd ed.

I like both! Hopefully someone else will come along and add some independent opinions to the mix.

Thanks Scott. I bought both as I'm a hound for rules   but I wanted to try it out with the kids and they're all desperate to play their favourite supers.

I'm reading 3rd first and in all fairness it looks excellent.

I'm also waiting for your new Super Mission Rules so no shortage of options
