Heyhey, here's an update on the Guild Ball figures:

So many details. Such wobbly casting. :D As you know I praised Steam Forge a lot for how much they improved on their metals after the initial two teams up to them doing my favourite metal models (quality-wise) on the market. Then they did this switch to wobblyplastic and it feels like we're back to square one with especially this set of Farmers Guild figures. Anyway, they're starting to take shape. Just takes ages. :D

Hey guys (when I type "guys" this includes all genders and states of being, by the way.)!

Update on the Guildball figures:

As you can see the human members of the team are done now so I started adding the special balls and ..well, the chicken and other things. :D Hope you like them!

@Andym: Thanks very much! The thing is that I started a bit late on these guys, so I better be quick! :D

Right, the Farmers are finished!

Of course the batteries on my cam were empty last night, so no more photos at this point, but I shall supply them shortly! Hope you like the team!

@Tungdil: Yeah, I worked with them pretty much from the very start until the end (and now on the restart; more on that in a bit), and it's been quite a ride. There are several really nice designs in there, that's for sure.

Well, Guildball is back, innit. So I was given a bunch of figures to paint again. :) Which is nice. Here's a WIP shot of most of them:

The big man with the cleaver and the red base in the back had some slight mold halves deviation, so I had to fix a few things, mostly the hands. The material still is a factor I have to say. It's gotten better since the first plastic releases I think. Now it feels slightly less floppy and a bit sharper. Kinda like a well-cast finecast in terms of how it feels and how you work with it. I'm still kinda sad for them having moved away from metals, because once they got them figured out after a few years, they made magnificent metal figures.

As you can see it's a nice mix of all sorts of guilds. Big Butcher, 2 Morticians, 4 Alchemists, 2 Brewers (and a dog), Navigators Guild box.

Hope you like them so far!
