gotterdamerung rules
« on: 09 February 2017, 06:35:46 PM »
I am thinking about buying the old Graven Images gotterdamerung figures.
I was wondering what rules I should use. Figures include regular human troops,
werewolves, vampires, super soldiers and zombies. It is set in late WWII.

Also, if anyone has these figures and may want to sell them I would be interested.

Thanks Everyone

There is no magic in Konflikt 47 (except Clarke's third law).

SOTR might be a better bet.

Have you tried the Savage worlds rules? They have a weird war supplement. We had a fantastic Vietnam campaign a few years ago using the Tour of darkness supplement.

Swiftkick,

Yes, I just saw those and I am considering them.
I have another set called Dogs of War and someone actually did
a supplement of these wars for gotterdamerung.

Hi
If you haven't played them they give quite a fun game. They are a sort of skirmish roleplay. Very character driven.
There is a free set of fast play rules on the pinnacle website.

Jim originally intended on his own mythos and rule system. But knowing what a lazy sod he was when it came to his own gaming. He'd have chosen something like Pulp Alley which would allow him to apply the Mythology he'd written, without having to tinker with the mechanic's of the game. Then he'd open a bottle while he played, and if things weren't going to plan he'd eventually ignore the game and suggest the Pelican for a pint, then town.

Jim had a love systems with a Gothic edge (plus  the Wolfenstein games)and his original system called for an unending war since 1914 coming of age with the use of walkers in The North Africa campaign which had been dragged out of storage by the British ( first used along side tanks to clear the trench stalemate of 1916.he'd named these early walkers Daddy long legs(( a name I never thought fit))with the idea that this was the trench nickname)Because the Germans had developed new walkers to work along side/control the occult force being deployed to stem the British counter attack in the desert. Then following WW2 up through Italy and then turning towards the Balkans' Heading for translvania to find the source of Occult forces being produced for the Third Reich.
If nothing else it should give you some scenario ideas.
