Sikh Troops previews by Pulp Figures
« on: February 26, 2009, 08:26:19 AM »

I'm preparing to add some Sikh troops to the British range. This is the first set with rifles. A weapons set is underway with the Boys AT gun shown here. This release isn't scheduled yet.

Awesome stuff! I love Murch's miniatures so much...great to paint and loads of character.

Think Copplestone's Sikh's are better.

But I also think Pulp Figures are better at the 'exotic' figures (weird villains, cronies, hooded minions etc.)

It isn't really a question of either/or, as these are WWII Sikhs, whereas the Copplestone ones are Great War/Inter War. Get both!

I really, really like them. The one holding his hand up is a bit stiffly posed, which is something you occasionally get with Pulp Figures. But I can forgive the ones like that, as Bob's figures are so full of character.

Yep, I agree with Monsieur Plnkes, very nice characterful figures. :)

I have a fondness for Indian regiments. My Foundry Darkest Africa Sikh unit(also by Copplestone) sees a lot of action in our Victorian games. :)
