My intention remains for them to meet half (okay, not even close) way in 15mm...

LOVELY work, though the bases, while striking, would have to allow a slip cover. My last 'nef action was over water. ;->=

Hi Ssendam, the bases are for Full Neff, the Mid Anglia Wargamers rules for VSF aerial battleships. These rules were originally derived from GZG's Full Thrust and incorporate altitude as well as a complete ship design system. The dials on the bases are used to indicate altitude.

I suggest we aught to think of these flat tops more like amphibious assault ships, carrying the equivalent of landing craft and helicopters.

These are a great idea for basing.  The camo scheme fits the period, visually at least, while making the bases less obtrusive.  Well done.  An idea that I will rip-off.
