ACW Rocketeer
« on: 16 February 2017, 02:57:46 PM »
ACW Rocketeer! Well an infantryman with a rocket launcher. This mini is from Brigade Games Gaslight range. It's a big fig, 32mm. He's part of my Rebel scientific corp. the Confederacies' answer to the Union's ironclad landships and automata. The fig arrived with the brim of his kepi missing as if metal didn't get into the mold. I painted the resulting area as goggles.

I remember your Rocket Zouave from a Winter Wars AAR you wrote a few years back. I only recently realised that it was the same fig from Brigade Games. Your games always look like tons o fun and inspired me to copy your  Battle for the Bridge.

Indeed!

I will say I don't think I've ever seen the WWW Spider built to run 'in reverse'. Interesting!

The one that I cut up I ended flipping the body over, so the driver up front was 'underslung.' Yet another project I'll have to 'dig that out, someday, after retiring.'

And, then, there's the flying banana...  lol

I will have admit, when, after reading the title and then opening the post, for a split second wondering 'how's he going to tie that to his back so he can fly...'

What? What? Oh...

Never mind...  ;)

Captain and Beast, thank you for the kind words. It was a hard slog, meat grinder of a battle with the Union forces barely winning. Almost all the vehicles are converted toys. We used Valour, Steel and Flesh for the rules
