In the Rogue One Ultimate Visual Guide it says the AT-ACT (All Terrain - Armoured Cargo Transport) is even larger than the AT-AT. Now when I saw the film I hadn't even realised they weren't AT-ATs, but that's not the point here. I have an AMT AT-AT, and it's out of scale (too big) for X-Wing (yes, I know X-Wing usually happens in space, which isn't where AT-ATs are found usually). I'm a bit of a stickler for scale, although not an extremist. So how bad would it be if I used my AMT AT-AT with X-Wing models?
I know I could ignore the scale as a detail here, or just pretend it's a bigger model - but is it very bad of me? I still have a niggling feeling about it, and want to get rid of it.... :D

I think I only saw it on TMP, but there's at least one fellow using X-Wing ships in ground attack mode, cobbled with homemade rules, and it was AWESOME!

Bad? Absolutely BADD ASSSS!  ;)

Beasts of War did a ground attack X-Wing game based around an Endor styled jungle etc. (ie. the fighters had to actually be cognizant of large trees, etc.)

That Mel has been a busy boy for some time now.

Grimm

Indeed. Some of his armada ships even fit in with my 1/2256 project.
