BS 2107 Update
« on: 02 March 2017, 08:50:02 PM »
On behalf of jimbibbly and myself I'd like you all to know that I will taking over the final stretch of the competition. Jim have simply become swamped at work and is working long hours with little oportuinties to log in to LAF from his workplace. Jim expects this situation to continue for a while so he has asked me to arrange the poll posts and monitor the voting.

I am now awaiting the stack of entries you have all sent to Jim. I expect to recieve them shortly. I have done this a few times so I should have the polls up tomorrow or saturday.

So that's the deal, chaps. Let's thank Jim for running the show this far. Don't work yourself towards bad health, pal!

I am both glad and sad to hear Jim is doing so much business.  Sad becasue he had to delegate and glad becasue it pays the bills and hopefully dividends.  So here is one just for Jim!  Be sure to make time to relax.

Hammers!  Thank you for taking things on and.....

Whenever you are ready.  :D

Thanks Hammers. I suspected that was the case when Jim mentioned work before (that or he was rendered immobile by the shear awesomeness of the entries!). Paying the bills takes priority.

Well someone had to do something to try and rescue what had quite frankly dissipated into nothing more than a disgraceful shambles. :D ;D

This is the LAF and there are standards to be upheld. One cannot state a schedule and then veer from it to the point of not only weeks but approaching a month. Teutonic efficiency, that's what we are used to around here.  Mind you I cannot say I am truly surprised, although defected to Malamutes glorious South East he's a northern barbarian, a Cumbrian and let's face it the passage of time is still measured by sun and moon up there. :D :D

I can hear the other excuses too.  The idiot probably told his bosses about the individual little blue bricks and is now embarked on some peculiar build project of a medieval theme park for a Saudi prince or has had to adapt it to white blocks for the latest Dubai skyscraper.

Anyway, thank you Hammers and you too Bobbly Jim.

Thanks both for stepping up, it's events like BSC that make LAF the great place that it is.
