Are we getting more

With the imminent release of Ghost Archipelago I wonder if we are getting more for the core Frostgrave game, or will we only be getting Ghost Archipelago stuff for the foreseeable future? After all Joe McCullough is just one person...

I personally prefer the aesthetics/idea of the core Frostgrave game with the Wizards running around ruins, fighting for arcane treasures. I'd love to get another campaign book set in Felstad. Though, I am curious about Ghost Archipelago, it just doesn't have the same easy to grasp/explain appeal.

Who knows maybe 2017 is dedicated to Ghost Archipelago and Joe comes back to Felsatds ruins in 2018...
Any thoughts, ideas, inside info?

There's nothing to prevent you from simply adding the Ghost Archipelago material to Frostgrave, and keeping all your bases and terrain white.

I assume there will be more stuff, though it will slow quite a bit for a short time after Ghost releases since there will be a bit more focus there for a bit.

A lot of what would come out would probably work just as well with the older stuff. Sure the warbands might not be based or dressed in ways that fit both, but they can probably work just as well in either "location" and one thing I'm hoping for is some alternate Warband options.

Frostgrave: Ulterior Motives Cards – 29 Jun 2017

The Frozen City harbours many secrets, and not all of them are ancient. While most adventurers who brave the dangers seek wealth and lost magic, some journey into Frostgrave for more personal reasons.

This expansion for Frostgrave consists of 40 Ulterior Motive cards, which add variety, depth, and new tactical challenges to wargames in the Frozen City. Each card presents the player with a specific task to accomplish and offers rewards if they succeed. Some of these missions must be revealed to all of the players, others must be kept secret. Will your wizard seek to slay a great demon? Rescue a desperate captive? Bring retribution to an enemy? All wizards seek power, but what are their ulterior motives?

I think we've been really spoilt in how well supported the game is, and it'll take me a while to get through all the scenarios.  I wouldn't be surprised to see te odd new scenario popping up now and again.  With such a good fan base I'm looking forward to us sharing our home brew campaigns too

Joe confirmed there will be more Frostgrave in the future:
"Also, this new game doesn't mean Frostgrave is done. It isn't, I'm already working on more Frostgrave content."

There will certainly be more. There will be a little break from the big books to give Ghost Archipelago a little breathing room, and then the Frozen City will return with something big.

I'm hoping there might be a few little things in the meantime.

I am only one person, but the amazing support you guys have show for the game has allowed me to devote more and more time to writing it.
