WIP Disciples of Caliban terminators

Decided to shy from the boring black and green scheme and go with grey and green. couldn't freehand a lion rampant so I've kept the regular DA symbols

Nice painting... Although I'm struggling to see the differences between the grey areas and the green areas!  o_o

Looks like some nice painting but yeah it all looks green in that picture. I had a similar thing with some Deathwing termies Id painted in the traditional bone scheme.  I posted pictures to another forum were several people said they liked that I painted them in light green instead of the normal bone colour.. :'(

does it make the grey and green easier to distinguish? perhaps when all 5 are finished?

Very nice, I can definitely see the green-grey on the outdoor photos. Those guys in power armour sneaking up on him also look really good too!

Thats a great paint job and colour scheme.  :-* Seeing them beside your WWWII figures makes me wish more people went with more realistic Space Marine colours as opposed to painting them bright colours and making them obvious targets! A Space Marine army with a subtle camo pattern, maybe with modern army markings too.

yeah they were just in the way as I tested it haha.
and I'd love to do Deathwatch in Camouflage patterns for Armageddon. I can imagine them having the common sense to adopt it

Nice painting - the natural light photos show that the green-grey colours are actually quite close to each other.

@ Andym:

If you like the camo colours on Space Marines, and have a soft spot for the mk6 "beakie" or "womble" armour, you might find the Raptors Chapter to your liking. They are a Raven Guard successor who specialise in stealthy fighting and have a green drab/olive as their Chapter colour ;)

I'm a bit late to the party on picking my chapter. I collected Space Wolves years and years ago. I've still got the plastic beakies (and an original Landraider and Rhino) in there, alongside some of the more modern stuff.

Unfortunately in most modern publications the raptors have become Swedish and love bright blue and yellow
