Orctrader - I love those guys but they really could use some background!

Many thanks for commenting, I do appreciate it.  However, these figures represent my best painting so far this LPL.  I'm not sure a "prop" would enhance them much.  I'd rather the painting speaks for itself.  I do have some "props" for some future rounds, but then the figures won't have so many layers and smooth transitions - I don't have the time.

Lt. Hazel, I don't know if I've ever seen you paint sci-fi (or if you have, I've just missed it), and these are beautiful! That yellow armour is lovely, as is the coat on the leader in the middle. Kev White can sculpt, that's for sure, and you've really done these justice.

Orctrader - what an adventuring party! I love the white and dark knight bookending the guys in between (and it's amazing to see how a completely different colour scheme can change a miniature to such a degree), but it's the elf and the dwarf for me. Fantastic - they absolutely needed to be side by side.

And beautifully painted minis on Orctraders set. I doubt they would have been enhanced by a prop of any kind, but maybe a slightly more crisp photo could have done something.

Ah, the photographing of groups of figures.  Always a problem.  There is in fact another adventurer - a female elf - but I just couldn't get a decent photo with the seventh figure.  I'll post a photo of her and more of these after the round ends.
