Looking good! I like how much mileage you can get out of the Light Cavalry box too!

Shame it's such a pain to get passive-posed or standing horses though! There's a couple of individual ones on the Front Rank website which scale alright with the Perry ones from what I can tell, but again not a huge variety

I just found out 1st corps do standing medieval horses but no idea how they compare size wise to the Perry horses

The old Kingmaker horses are larger then the Perry equivalents.

I've often considered doing horse holders like this, but hadn't considered that I'd need to resculpt the reins and create stirrups as well...
I don't think I'm going to do it in the end, seems beyond my skills, but I applaud you for doing it!

I've used the same Agincourt metal horses in walking poses for my own mounted crossbowmen (as yet unpainted). As you've found they scale well with the metal WOTR horses, but are definitely noticeably smaller than the plastic WOTR horses. Work very well for mounted longbowmen/crossbowmen!

(Though if a certain company ever decided to release packs of horse holders I'd buy a load of them....)

I think you can...it's just a trial and error process for the stirrups. Bend thin wire with pliers into a stirrup shape and then coat the 'strap' with green stuff and trim to length when its set hard.
I'm now attempting a Burgundian Coustiller mounting his horse - again, chopping up plastic and filling gaps with putty - trying to match a pose I've found online.
It's fiddly; but thats the joy of plastic, it creates the opportunity for vignettes etc.

I know the TAG horses are a little smaller than Perry ones, but might be appropriate for dismounted archers and crossbowmen.
