I like your colour choices for the Baron, I may steal the idea for mine.

A clever conversion too, like it.

Well, Guy, BoB is one of the of the corner stones of this forum, I was pretty much in a BoB fever, starting LAF in those days :)

Excellent Alex. So happy to see this thread revived. So many lovely Copplestone figures, and your scenic pictures are jewel-like as ever  :-*

Love that conversion too. He's going to be a great figure.

After all that talking about other Copplestone miniature I've decided to make some shots of these two lovely females. So here comes Shanghai Li! I've painted her about 10 years ago. I'm still quite pleased with her though I wouldn't mind to have the same miniature painted in brown tones for my collection. Maybe one day.

I painted my version a while after you, but you see I went for both brown AND red :D
She's one of my favourite figures ever. (I hope you don't mind me posting her in your thread :))

Hmmm... Maybe I should revive my Transylvanian VSF thread. That must have been dead for at least a year... And what better subject for bringing back to life?  ::)

Thanks, Richard! I can remeber her very well, she and her lovely team knocked down my werewolves in the Round 10 in one of the Lead Painter leagues :)

Yes, that's a splendid idea, don't think too much, just take them!

Your post was even the last post in this thread in 2007, the next one came yesterday :)

And there I was thinking I was having the last word.    :)

Ladies and gentleman, today we have the Prof himself here  :D This very special Back of Beyond Prof was a gift from our Lt.Hazel who did convert him out of the Prof.Witchheimer miniature. He also painted him very nicely. Thanks, Jan, love your creation :)

And another conversion is following Prof, a young Indiana Jones! I've made him out of a Bob Murch miniature. You can scroll down this forum page and have a look at the Miniaturicum banner at the bottom to see how the original miniature looks like.

Prof is having some troubles passing the chinese province Xinjiang.

Also I've painted the converted bounty hunter.  Painting him was a joy!

Great conversion coloured-in to an equally high standard.

Wonderful, seamless conversions and paintwork on the other two fellas too.
A great gift from Lt. Hazel.
