Old West Town Roll Call!

Here is the quiet town of Sweetwater. I haven't decided which state to put it in yet. It's a toss up between Texas and New Mexico. It's smaller than most towns in this thread, it's 15mm Blue moon.

@Argonor - I've been to Texas and the only thing bigger there are the hats... And what happens if you do mess with Texas? I've never gotten a clear answer on that. loll You of course have a valid point, so New Mexico it is.

Finally got enough of my town "Tinkers Creek" built so I could post a picture. This is my 3x3 board I have enough for a 4x6 board in the pipeline so eventually I will post a larger town but I think its coming along. I also have yet to do the signage, posters etc so forgive me it will get done eventually.

Lookin' real good there Frod.  You can do some fantastic stuff with those pegasus hobbies fences (I modified mine and they look superb).

According to one Cracked article, it's like saying "Give a hoot. Don't pollute!" in reference to the kind of "mess" made when passersby throw trash at a trash can rather than into it. The answer is that the relevant authorities show up at your door and hand over a trash bag to tell you that you've been sentenced to go clean it up...

About time I added my town to the roll: East Clintwood

My recent entry in LPL11 shows the town sign:

(Last evenings outing to the local club, which has poor lighting, so not the best pics)
















The town was scratch-built, from mounting board and balsa, mostly around 15 years ago with a few later additions.  I don't have a fixed layout for it, so it appears slightly differently each time.  My miniatures (around 130 or so!) are predominantly the original Foundry Old West range and the buildings are scaled accordingly.  The recently painted Black Scorpion ones are too big, but I wanted to have at least one game with them.
