Arèna for gladiators
« on: August 08, 2013, 02:48:34 PM »
Hello,
Radical change of period, after Star Wars, here are some photos of the last scenery in progress.
With Olivier, we are fully launched in gladiatorial combat. We're using the THW rule Red Sand, blue sky.
It offers the ability to manage a Ludus, buy and sell gladiators and / or slaves, and make them progress;
It begins in the Fringe of the Empire, and as and if we manage well (must win fights anyway), you earn money and you get closer to Rome, with the ultimate goal, to fight in the Coliseum.

Have gladiators, that's fine, but in an arena, it is still better.

There are still things to do: design of the lodge, railings for first place, exterior doors and especially spectators!

The statues are scrap tests spectators inconclusive, then went to the mold in two parts.

Looks great but my back hurts just at the thought of gaming on it (having played a final at GW on their Blood Bowl Stadium ...)

Show off  ;) If it was some point in the past eight years I was probably watching from one of the (much!) lower tables  lol

I've got a spécial table that can be lower, for spécial scénery. I made it to play the death star attack, because the bottom of the trench is deep of 20cm. ;)

That looks great - very reminiscent of Gladiator.  :-*

I do wonder although how long those shades can possibly survive clumsy gamers.
