The hidden valley of Heruthep
« on: January 10, 2009, 10:34:54 PM »
Hi there!
Just took some photos of my first terrain project: 'The hidden valley of Heruthep'. The project is not finished though. Got stuck when I tried to paint some mummies. I hate painting mummies...   :? . Anyway:

The statues are aquarium pieces from Germany, can't remember the manufacturer at the mo.  There are others available too - they're very nice.

Best table I saw in a while. And I saw a few great looking tables.
Please tell us more about sczenario, rules, work in progress.
Where did you get those statues from. Will there be an inside the Temple board ?
But anyway...Iam pretty speechless because of this awesome board.
Cheers

Hagen, why am I not surprised that you make beautiful terrain as well as paint outstanding miniatures?  :)
This is undoubtedly one of the best wargame tabletops ever. Simply gorgeous. Well done.

Being picky, I'd say the palm tree foliage looks a little too bright green - think it would have toned in better with the rest of the layout, had the fronds been a little more faded.

But the rockwork, groundwork, and overall effect is simply stunning. Fabulous.  :-*

Your board looks amazing!! I just picked up the large tomb entrance in the back of the booard a couple of months ago...any tips on the colours you used to paint the piece?  Thanks in advance!!

Keep up the great work!!! And keep sharing...WOW o_o
