Great work, sir.
Lovely brushwork and those bases blend in with boards really well.
Top result all round.

That snow works extremely well!  :)

The Pulp Figures mountaineers are a good choice for a well-equipped polar rescue party - very fitting clothing and gear!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

This is great! Every step on your way to BLam 2017 is very exciting and great. A break is always hard for your audience.

Yes the snow effect is just what I was looking for.

It's a long way to BLAM 17. (There's a song in there somewhere  ::)).  Sorry to make you wait.

Thanks very much.  I wanted the colours to be a suitable contrast to all the white on the board.  Hopefully they and the buildings/camp features will provide that.

Thanks.  Hopefully the game will also provide moments of 'chilling' to the players.

Beautiful paint-jobs - my only comment would be to paint the hands of the gentleman with the binoculars to look like gloves. As it is, it looks like he's taken them off, which is a bad idea in the high Arctic!

Thanks.  I agree about taking one's gloves off in the Arctic but I love the pose. I don't think that his hands would have painted well as gloves and I was not in the mood to do conversions.

Great paintwork Gary.

Thanks Mark.

Lovely stuff! It's all shaping up rather nicely!

Big mitts are a pain in the ass for any work which requires fine movements. Realistically he'd probably be wearing some sort of thin liner gloves under those heavy mitts. You possibly could have gotten away with painting them black, or a natural wool colour (Who doesn't love dachsteins!). However as it is I think the models look pretty amazing!

I was going to say the same thing. I always had my dachstein mitts on bungies (with a goretex mitt cover) so I could drop them off to do any intricate stuff and I'd always have some liners on just to stop the cold for a few minutes. I lost one of my best krabs down a gulley trying to mess on with mitts. I'm sure they've stopped frostbite in the past though!
