New to Frostgrave and the Forum
« on: January 16, 2017, 10:08:20 AM »
Hi folks. I've recently got back into 28mm wargaming after a long break. The lure of Frostgrave was too hard to resist.

I've started putting together some terrain for a 4x4 table. Everything is scratchbuilt using mainly found materials. I've got step by step build logs for them over on my blog too if you're into making you're own terrain: http://www.RichBuilds.com

The four doored crypt from one of the scenarios in the rulebook.

And a ruined bridge

Check out my blog dedicated to scratchbuilt terrain and model building: http://www.richbuilds.com

Excellent stuff, the weathering and adding of greenery is very nicely done.

Also, welcome (back)!

Welcome aboard, RichBuilds.
That scenery is an excellent way of introducing yourself.
Very nice indeed.

Ooh, I think I saw those in the Frostgrave group on Facebook. The paintjobs are super, very realistic.

On that table your builds look a bit like Frostgrave On Ice!

It's a flat green scatter flock. I drop a wet wash of darker green/brown in the center and let it fade out towards the edges a bit. I was kindov going for this look:
