Dreadball Stadium from Amera
« on: April 29, 2013, 10:39:07 AM »
Picked one of these up at Salute from the Amera stand, I'm well impressed with it and thought I would give people a heads up on it http://www.amera.co.uk/product.php?range=d

They have some nice stuff. Don't think I'd pay that amount but it looks nice. Some do the other stuff seems good for terrain.

Looking at the other items they sell at that price point, I suspect Mantic get a percentage of sale price for liscensing. Amera probably gets their standard profit and the extra goes to Mantic. That's certainly how it normally works.

I've been meaning to try out the Amera stuff ever since Dallimore did an article on them. They looked pretty good when finished.
So many projects..... so little time.......

I've built quite a few of their buildings and they go together really well. Also I've met him quite a few times and he is a top man, really good to deal with.

I bought their Large Hilltop Ruin, and a lot of river sections from them a couple of years ago - and I can vouch for the sturdiness of their stuff, too (sadly, it's all sitting untouched in my garage).
