::) lol lol

Glad that someone caught on!

I hear the new guy with the chainsaw is a real cut up!

Great work! I plan to get the Black Cat Bases cultist with a chainsaw. Almost got him last order.

Thanks, styx, but that was bloody awful!
 ;)

There is something truly horrifying about a chainsaw...for moi, it has something to do with a total lack of skills with most power tools The mini is cool in a grotesque sort of way. Your brushwork & basing have produced yet another outstanding creation. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks, DeafNala!
He is a rather sinister looking chap....

Not a pleasant looking fella, is he?

Now a couple of figures that I bought recently from Majorsmith, after he posted them on the Bazar.
I thought that they would be perfect to add to the ranks of the Ministry

First up is the Russian Civil War Veteran

A great figure with an excellent paintjob. I have a couple of Russian Babes who will form the rest of his team. A simple bit of rebasing to make him fit in with the rest of the project.
I see him as an English socialist fellow who has joined the Ministry to gain knowledge before returning to Russia and running his own team.

The next addition is a figure that can be used as an Agent of the Ministry or as an excellent tool to be used in the Bag Man scenario or similar.

The Courier

Another simple rebasing job for a great, well painted miniature.

Hope that you like them..

Back with a chainsaw-wielding Maniac tomorrow!

I hope you mean photo, Mason! Or has the disappointing attendance at this week's gaming night finally pushed you over the edge so that you are recruiting new friends? A chainsaw-wielding maniac might actually be an improvement over Bullock - likely to cause less destruction to your gaming table, anyway! :D

"Fellas, this is my new friend 'Leatherhead', he's joining the group today. Don't talk to him directly, or look at him, and never take him up on his offer of a bed for the night. And you'd best let him win..."

The southern English town of Leatherhead always makes me think of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Not to be confused with the 'Texas Chainstore Massacre', which was a popular sale run by a group of DIY shops of yesteryear.

Okay, I'm off before Mason gets his actual chainsword out (he was an Imperial Guard Commissar in a previous life dontcha know...). ;D

That model would be perfect for one of the Necromunda special characters!

With you on that DeafNala! Bladed weapons in general seem so much nastier than projectiles. But there is something particularly horrifying about chainblades - always thought that was a grim concept in 40k. Imagine the mess! :-[

I love your new agents, specially the veteran that brings a kind of exotism to your team. And the chainsaw maniac is absolutely scary. Can't wait to see what he can do in game.

Not sure that the rest of the guys will feel the same about 'Leatherface' though!
 lol

That Chainsaw Loony certainly seems to fit the role of Maniac quite nicely...

I just love maniacs wielding chainsaws...well, I just love chainsaws, they're great! I love movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Evil Dead, Phantasm 2 etc. that feature chainsaws. I'm going to watch Pieces tonight...a Spanish horror movie about a maniac that cuts up people to make a human jigsaw.

I like 'em too.

The last of the figures that I bought from Majorsmith.

Rocket Troopers

I have had these in the painting pile for ages, but they kept getting pushed to the back, so when I saw that Majorsmith was selling these fine examples I could not resist!

I will be using them as Lurkers, a team employed by the Rogue Character, The Grinning Rictus, heavily armed and equipped with stolen prototype jet packs.
It should give the players something to think about...

Yet more luvverly minis for the collection, Mason - really like the look and concept of those rocket Ronnies! I can see them working well as slightly tougher lurkers - were you thinking armour and such like?
