Very tough choice, indeed, but surly buddhists get my vote although crazed Assyrian dwarves do make it hard.

Say, Prof. What are those things attached to the Tibetan's rifles, anyway? I've never been able to figure that out...

This one was tough; it might just be the matchup of this round...

In the end the Tibetans got my vote; the Chaos Dwarves are spectacular but well-painted & well-presented pulpishness always swings my vote.

I found that the hardest decision to make so far this year due to the outstanding quality of both entries.

Awesome work guys.

The slight lead of Graham indicates to me that we have more GW afficionados/nostalgics now than we used to.

Maybe... or that the Minotaur is simply outrageous.

seconded, the entry is amazing, voted for them to. Awesome painting, highlights and theme. Chaos Dwarves were my first Warhammer Army and miniatures at all, always loved these crazy guys :)

Two good entries, but the Tibetans got my vote - partly because of the "adviser" hiding in the background!
The Tibetan matchlocks have a sort of bipod attached, to assist with aiming.

I agree! Both entries are perfect!
Finally my vote went to the Tibetans. The reason: they are humans (and pulp and ....)

I must say I'm surprised the running is close - the Tibetans are absolutely gorgeous!  I attribute the closeness not to GW aficionados nor to the minotaur (in it's entirety, that is); rather, I learned a lesson from my matchup against black-bear's Raiders of Bloodwyn ... bare bottoms get votes ;)  Mine's not as pretty, though.

Thanks for the kind words, all!
Jim

Had to vote for the Chaos Dwarfs as I still play them in Warhammer fantasy.
