I know I wanted to to a polar piece with a sled and whe I saw the "frisky penguins" on the Copplestone site I knew I just wanted to do a piece with a penguin sliding down a slope.
Cool, arcticman! May I cime with a piece of what I hope is constructive criticism? Snow appears quite matt in nature and it appears glossy in your pic. May I suggest a coat of dull enamel and a sprinkle of baking soda?
Hammers: thanks for the tip, I used the Vallejo snow effect straight from the bottle, and I agree its a bit too glossy. I will definitely try dull enamel and baking soda on ny next wintery project (I'm not arcticman for nothing
).
