Hey!
Surely in your vast gaming travels you have seen some 10mm Naps based for Black
Powder, or using those rules?
I have a bit of a dilemma. What the heck do I do for basing? If I use a 6 base
unit at 20x20 with 4 figures, they will be awful to move. But, that allows for
Line to Square/Battalion Mass to Attack Column to Column. I also put the figures
out like this and it looks like counters and loses the effect of going to the
10mm. Plus the size advantage somewhat disappears.
The other option I am thinking is a single 45x40mm base (I have bags of them)
and going with a single battalion per base. Looks nicer, I can accomplish three
ranks for the Austrians, and can do the same for the French and Russians.
British need to be in two lines, perhaps a wider/less deep base. When in a block
I can get some marker counters cut from Litko for Attack Column, Column, Square.
A bit gamey, but the look is closer to what I imagined. And then table size
works better.
Any thoughts?
