Not my period at all, but I'm currently reading Tom Holland's Shadow of the Sword, which encouraged me to take a look.
I quite like that book- I've read it twice so far. :D

Great job! He fits into the orc army very well. I like the skin tones you used - it sets him apart from the orc masses!

Colonial Adventures / The Haru-pa-kaut. Nile steamer
« Last post by olicana on Today at 03:43:49 PM »
I did a post on this Nile steamer a couple of months ago but can't find it to update it so forgive me for putting it here under a different title. This isn't just the same post rehashed, this is a link to my blog post (today) on an illustrated guide to how she was built out of cardboard and MDF (mainly) completely from scratch.

Anyway, the link:

Lovely work on those, I'm very impressed.

The radio vehicle is fine but I've always had a soft spot for the 250/9 and yours are great. I particularly like the guy perched on the edge of the turret.

On the radio vehicle isn't that 250/5? I thought the 250/3 had the "bedstead" aerial?

Anywho - looking good.
