I didn’t know that there were fortune cards- are they a pdf?

Yes. Someone made them and posted them to the Irregular Wars Facebook group.

They look good.

The card deck in Irregular Wars (Nic's earlier rules) always adds a nice extra layer of randomness - I may well back-port the card can be discarded for a re-roll, as sometimes the cards you draw aren't useful for the army or the game situation.
