I used several of their biremes for an ancients game.  I used 28mm figures and the galleys were a bit under-scale but I didn't think terribly so, especially given the price.  More pictures on my blog:

I became so inspired I ordered two galleons.

While waiting, I made a ruleset and drew this ship chart. It is to be used for allocating crew to different battle stations within the ship, and to record damage, hull breaches and fires.

Looks good.  Would not mind a copy of your rules if you would be so kind.

Absolutely!

But as a matter of fact, the image needs to be adjusted, as I found out the galleon has two aft gunports. So I will post a new one later on.

Regarding the rules, I am actually thinking of making them a thread of it´s own where everyone may try the rules out and suggest changes!

I will, I just have to translate them from swedish first. The focus of the rules will be battles between larger ships where ship management during combat (allocating crew to different battle stations, putting out fires, pumping water and repairing the hull) is as important as tactical decisions. There is a delayed order execution when sailing, forcing the players to second guess each other to manouver into advantageous positions, while at the same time take factors as wind, sails and damages into consideration.

Ok, so here is the updated ship with the added aft cannons. I have also added a number code to each section to determine where incoming fire hits. For every hit, first roll 1d4 (the first number in the sequence) then roll 1d8 (the second number). For instance, if you roll a 3 and then a 7, the magazine is hit, which may be very bad news. A 4 followed by a 4 on the other hand, will only ruin some bed linen, a parade uniform and maybe a bottle of wine in the officer´s quarters.

If the ship is attacked from behind, consider the first die to be a 4 and only roll the second die. If attacked from the front, the first die is a 1.

No gun port on the poop deck.  You could mount a swivel gun?
