Egyptians v Hittites
« on: 06 June 2017, 12:20:18 PM »
Another outing for my Bronze Age chaps, using Saga and my home-made Hittite and Egyptian boards.
The Egyptian Pharoah has been captured by the Hittites, who are trying to get him away while the Egyptians try to stop him.
(the 'captured' scenario from C&C). 7 points a side.

A fun game; the Hittites tried to punch through the centre while the one surviving Egyptian chariot managed to evade the enemy and circle round to free the trapped Pharoah
.

Great stuff!

Do you have any close ups of your Egyptians, maybe on another thread if not from this battle?
I shall be looking to get some soon and am looking at the options available.
 ;)

The figures are mostly Wargames Foundry (bought back when they still sold figures individually, which tells you how old they are).
There are also some Ral Partha Egyptian archers and spearmen, and some Garrison chaps amongst the Hittites.
