More Woodland Indians...

Very nice! I have to say I love the bases. What material do you use for the flowers?

Mike,  Flowers are easily made by taking an ordinary tuft, spreading a bit of super glue lightly on the very tips of the tufts and then sprinkling on whatever color powder you wish to use.
Let it set, then turn it over and tap off the excess. It should be sparse using a light touch.
I use a toothpick to apply the glue, because it can roll over the tips leaving the glue.
After you tap off the excess, you can use the toothpick to separate clumps where the powder went on too thick. This makes a big difference.

Model RR stores sell the various colored flower flakes. You get 5 or 6 color packets for a few bucks.

Thanks for the tip! I'm thinking I could actually manage that...and we're talking about the guy who the only things he has successfully super-glued together are my fingers!

Nice work on the indians.

Re the flowers:  I put a few drops of acrylic paint into some sand and stir it around till all the sand is coloured then leave it to dry before rubbing it through my fingers to separate the grains.  Then I apply it using the superglue method described.  It's a lot cheaper than buying the powders and gives you an infinite colour range.  If you want to get fancy you can colour up different shades of sand and mix it together to get more interesting 'flowers'
