Adventures in Jimland

I have been helpfully pointed in the direction of "Adventures in Jimland" as a way of handing Darkest Africa expeditions and have found a pdf copy (version 17) on the web.  I know there is also a published version sold by Minden Games, but it is apparently OOP.  Can someone familiar with the game answer a couple of questions for me please?

1) Is the Minden game an update of the pdf version 17, or are they the same?
2) Does the published game include event, tribal and animal cards? (Unless I am missing something, the pdf version doesn't and only gives a few examples)
3) If the cards are available elsewhere, can someone post a link please?

For the record, I am happy to buy the published version if it is possible.

I *believe* the printed version is a newer iteration than either 1.7 (the version it's easy to find online) or 1.6 (the version Peachey links to).
However I've never been able to locate a printed copy and all my games have been happily played with those rules and cards linked to.
