Just make a row of 1x6 if you need it to fit in with the 6x6 tiles!

That's a very tasty terrain piece - excellent scratch-building.

As far as stairs go, three iterations isn't too bad - I've always found stairs to be a real bear to build. Yours turned out nicely. Excellent thread, this!
