Unfortunately Brent's daughter fell very seriously ill, and he withdrew from the hobby to concentrate on more important things. I'm honestly not sure what the outcome was in the end, but he hasn't updated his blog, Musings from The Warp, for a couple of years now. As you say, a wonderful modeller and painter, and a very nice guy too.

Oh that is terrible to hear.  I do hope his daughter has had a good outcome.

I was seriously inspired by his work and he was a very nice guy to correspond with as well.

Thanks guys - a sad story - though when he withdrew from the hobby he had a number of custom projects of mine underway. I hope it did not end in tragedy but he simply disappeared from view. Ah well - there are clearly more important things.
