In fact my first thought, on seeing the first pic, was that they must be in 15mm or smaller.

Not really - I'm just suffering from a fairly serious case of OCD. A buddy and I are looking at War of the Ring or another mass battle set. For now I use Dragon Rampant but that rule set can't get that whole collection in a game obviously.
