Quite unusual to have a true light infantryman in red! Although in reality red coats are not as conspicuous as you’d think. It would probably be the white smallclothes and crossbelt that would be more of an issue. The hat is interesting looks a bit like tge cut down tricornes that some British troops wore in AWI or early light dragoon  helmets.
