I agree with your comments on the blog about the figs,I have French light cavalry/hussars from the original releases in this range and they are far more characterful than these,a shame really that the original sculptor is no longer on board as in my opinion, for what it's worth, the range has suffered as a consequence.

Doesn't Northstar sell these?
I cant find them on the NS site, only carabiniers and heavy cav in cuirass.
How many poses are there? you mentioned separate heads too?

I really like what you've done with them, I like the aurore facings too.
Although I disagree with the sculpting comments.I had some of the Austrian and French dragoons and didn't like them at all but quite like the new stuff.

Packs of three in three different poses as in the phoos on my Blog. Hope that helps.

Each to their own of course, Pete. My son Matt was the original sculptor, but that aside, the new figures are stiff and lack fine detain and resolution compared to the earlier figures. But, its all a matter of taste of course. Glad you liked what I'd done with them anyway.

The project is coming along nicely and at a fair pace. Have to agree on the cavalry though, the pose on the 4th cavalry is just not right and not a posture one could hold for long, it looks like it was done to make the casters job easier to me.
