I am looking for Xenomorph heads for larger bug organisms

Hello LAFers

I am looking for Xenomorph heads for larger bug organisms. I know many years ago Chapterhouse did these and they are long extinct.

Ideally I'm looking for heads that could count as Tyranid Warriors rather then the smaller grunts.

Can anyone recommend a 3d printer who does such heads? Maybe there's a licensing thing I'm missing but I haven't been able to find anything myself.

Vodkafan did a very nice alien using a 28mm cow's head for the transplant.
This time of year shops will be selling off Halloween stuff cheaply. Things like packs of insects/spiders & other creepy crawlies.
Might be worth a look.

If you have access to a 3d printer then Puppetwars have some of the best around . If not then search their website for ready made resin ones.
The beauty of 3d printing is that you can scale to your needs.

If you message Andy at Heresy he still sells them! I picked up 30 and they are awesome, but they're not big enough to represent larger 'Praetorian Guard' style leader bugs sadly.

And you did? I've had almost a dozen conversations with Andy over the past five or so years concerning those heads. I need at least 50 or so more, but he always said he would look into it and forgot, or just plain never replied back.  There were also noises about them being real mouldrippers and of no interest from buyers (although I know mcfonz and I at least have bought bunches of them)

They're gone from his webstore too (unless they have returned). But I'll have another try, if you say he still has them! 

And you're right: I've used them extensively on Hormagaunt bodies, but I find them too small for anything bigger than that. I've simply resculpted heads on Warriors and a  Carnifex to resemble the lurker heads...

Do you have pictures of your bugs? I’m beginning to think you’re who inspired me to use them in the first place!!

I would definitely contact Heresy about them, I’m surprised that you’ve had issues actually. I genuinely got another 30 like 2 months ago!

They're starring in this battlereport for instance: bugs vs. humans

And I will now email Andy (yet) again for sure! I had sort of given up hope on getting any more, even though I still have many, many gaunts to fill out my horde, just waiting for the right heads.

I was even on the lookout for guys able to 3D sculpt them for me, so I could also scale them for use on larger creatures. So cheers for the headsup

If anyone has survivors from Chapterhouse Studios or knows of 3D/ resin options out there please let me know!
