Shifting Sands: US supplier and great service!

Having just purchased a Proxxon Hot Wire Cutter, I took a look at the Shifting Sands website to see what extras they had for the machine - the original guide bar is not the best.

To my surprise they now have a US based supplier - Scott Ismail in Maine - but when I loaded up the cart there was no way to ship to Canada.

I dropped Scott an email and within 10 minutes he had replied. USPS shipping costs to Canada are excessive so he recommends any Canadian customers use the Dutch site. I had to admire his honesty.

So, US customers you can get your stuff cheaper now.

Just received my order from Gerard in Holland, 12 days from ordering to my doorstep in Montreal.

Exceedingly well packaged - enough bubble wrap to keep me going for 6 months.

Great tools that are well thought out, robust and well made.
