Battle of Roundway Down
« on: 15 September 2022, 10:28:06 AM »
Fought this battle this week using the excellent scenario for ‘For King and Parliament’. It initially all went the Royalist way as they scythed through the opposing cavalry, but then some units pursued into the Parliamentarian infantry and came to grief and suddenly the game hung in the balance. In the end, the Royalists just managed to break the opposing army when down to one victory medal. A very close, fun game.

LOL I was fighting the same battle at Colours on Saturday- we had a couple of very close games, too. I'll post some pictures soon.

No, Atkins was fighting against Gould’s regiment. Haselrigge ended up with them after the lobsters were destroyed, but by that time Atkins had done his heroic deed
