I've been working on a robot faction for my apocalypse and wanted to share the current state of my WIP.


All files shown above are freebies from Thingiverse, and all figures were printed on my Anycubic Photon SE.

I also wanted to show a stompy walker bot that I made in Tinkercad. The bot was printed as a single piece on the same printer. The bases for both are wood disks with some added details. All analog hobby work, not printed.

Thanks, Rick. I've got a bundle of stuff in the works for this project. For instance, I'm currently working on a set of large printable ruins for my table. This was the first test, and the second piece should be off the printer today. Over the weekend I'll work on texturing and priming, and then next week I'll hopefully get the full set completed enough to show it off.

Smooth areas will be covered in some rubble. Walls will be textured with PVA/grit/spackle mix.

Excellent job on the Robot Faction.  Loved the yellow motif. Gotta like a faction that keeps to itself and don't take **** from anybody. My own robot faction is led by the irrepressible Robby the Robot of Forbidden Planet. At the time, most expensive prop in Hollywood history. Thinking of naming my next robots after the Fury Road characters: Rokatansky, Imperator Furiosa, Immortan Joe, and The Splendid Angharad.
