AWI Storage
« on: 12 November 2022, 10:20:31 AM »
I've been asked "where do you store all this stuff?"

Well, I use these 6 drawer cabinets and I line them with magnetic sheeting.
You can see how that works in the photos.

How many do I have?

I leave it at more than 20.

And I have switched to the RUB 8 drawer cabinets.
Errr......  Maybe a dozen of the RUB's

KMM is Kings Mountain Miniatures.
OMM stands for Over Mountain Men
F&D   is Fife and Drum Minis
GM    Galloping Major

Hope that's clear.

Great solution, I found the centre of the plastic drawers collapse under the weight of metal figures.

I have tool boxes for transport so magnetized bases, then in display cabinets at home, although I do need more cabinets to display my collection.

Cheers

Willow,   What brand cabinets drawers collapsed on you?
The ones I use are made by either Sterite or Really Useful Boxes.
Both of these companies make high quality plastic storage products.

I've had the Sterite cabinets for more than 20 years without a single problem.

Also, the magnetic sheeting adds strength by evenly distributing the weight of the troops.

How heavy were the figures you had in the collapsed drawers?
