Printing purchased PDF rules uk
« on: 01 April 2023, 06:49:35 PM »
Looking for some pointers to where and how to get pdf rules printed in book format in the uk. There is a plethora of rules etc on wargames vault, drive thru rpg etc that I’m interested in and would cost me a fortune on my ancient printer.
Any pointers on how and where/links would be much appreciated  ;)
Thanks in advance

There are lots of online companies that offer this as a service - its a few years since I used one to get the Baroque rules printed, but seem to recall it was pretty reasonable cost wise.

If you want something you can go to try, shops like Staples who you can take a file in and get it printed.

The other cheeky option is the printer at work, but name the PDF something like ‘03-23 financial report’ before you print it!

Dox Direct is my go to at the moment - https://www.doxdirect.com/

Reasonable prices, several binding options and a very fast turnaround time - I ordered on Saturday and they arrived on the Tuesday. Plus you get a free sweetie :)

Have to agree - been using them for years without an issue.

Normally I use the spiral binding as the book can be left open but folded over and still lay flat.
Always get the opaque outer cover as this keeps the static and dust down.
I pay extra for the 120gsm or 130gsm paper as this feels better.

A5 is handy for some rulesets - never had any issues with legibility shrinking A4 PDFs down from them.
