They look cool - only thing I'd to to make then even better would be to make some side strips so they are straight down the side.

What scale are the figures?
If 28mm I think the cobblestones look to big.
The real ones  have seen are maybe only 1' long? Maybe only about 3" wide.

it is a real cobblestone, made of stone (not brickworks!) and the tiles are  1cm x 5mm  ==> 50-60 cm x 25-30 cm in real life. quite a reasonable size.
actually, milan and all the northen part of italy is filled with this size of cobblestone. ^_^
i guess that in the ancient times it was the same... ^^

@richJ, i'm already sculpting them, actually you are right, those are quite necessary!! :)

They look very nice with a good amount of texture  8) (the pattern you are using is called 'herringbone' and was in use from the Tudor period up until now  :) ).

One thing I would suggest is to maybe make any future sheets a little bit bigger, I think with quality you a aiming for people are going to want to use them for larger areas and not just bases  :)

When I first saw them I wasn't convinced. I thought they looked a bit big. Seeing them in your scenic base, however, has changed my mind. I love them.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/

Thanks mates! i really appreciate your support!

@ Jimbibilly: it was called "opus spicatum" from the romans, they used it with bricks for their squares!
I did this small section because it is meant for STREETS (i'm sculpting the borders of it), so bigger ones force people to make very large streets... if you need a path you can use this now!

if you are interested, i've made a short tutorial on my website on how i made the display base:

http://www.thelazyforger.com/tutorials/how-to-ruined-cobblestone-tiles/

I understand that i'm really not experienced on modelling raw ground and nature, this is almost my first serious attempt...

anyway, i already did  a bigger mould, since some my italian friend asked me to cast them some pieces: so if anyone here is interested... i can cast them in resin for you!

Would be generally interested in some, depending on the price.

it should be around 16 euro for a pack of 20 pieces, or 9 euro for a pack of 10... with 20 pieces you can make 2 meters of cobblestone road, or 1 meter of a large one!

sounds reasonable to you?
