Like Betty more than Violet.

I like Betty more than Veronica.

But as far as the minis are concerned, they are a bit immodest. Fine looking sculpts, though.

I have it! They're suffragists! The horror!

How tall is Betty?

She's 28mm to the eyes. About 33mm with the top hat.

Unless I'm mistaken Melnibonean does his own sculpting... and stunts, I believe.

You've really come along way from your first sculpts, that's great to see!

Yes I sculpted them and thanks for the positive comment. My sculpting has improved - And keeps improving with steep learning curves.

Suffragists - I like that. I like that alot!

Thanks for all the positive replies folks.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Betty is a nice lady but I neither get nor like the shield (and it doesn't look easy to mod off either) ???

Very nice.

There is no difference between VSF and Steampunk in my opinion. :P

There is an entire thread or two dedicated to that topic. I think they are quite different, personally, as VSF does not require the dystopian view of steampunk.

And Frank Chadwick claims no difference, which, as the main force behind Space 1889, gives him some gravitas in such discussions.

Being the curmudgeon, I won't stop disagreeing, mind you.  ;)

Frank does, indeed, have a claim to much gravitas in this discussion.

Being a Curmudgeon-in-Training - I am only 40, so haven't met the age requirement yet - I will still disagree. But with more respect than I would give to any punk kids. Who had better stay off my lawn!
