10mm Italian CTV, Battle of Guadalajara
« on: 22 February 2023, 10:20:09 AM »
Painted up some Italians for the Battle of Guadalajara, thus far an infantry platoon with support weapons and a few L3/35 tankettes. I plan to use them for FiveCore Company Commander.

More pictures and the process for painting them here: http://lecoqfou.blogspot.com/2023/02/a-challenge-of-sorts.html

Love the dotted camo on the tankettes!

Thank you kindly, it was a hit or miss effort to figure out what they probably looked like at that time and then to replicate the look. I was half tempted to give it a go and paint the unit markings but I opted not to embark on that folly.

Very nice. I game in 6mm and like the feel of company commander. I have the new "People's Edition" and found it missing things like sequence of play. I brought it up to Ivan who sent me the original version which had fewer options wrt sequence but actually had a sequence of play. What edition are you using? Mind if I pick your brain on it in future? Thank you.

My apologies on not responding earlier. Im not sure what edition I have (it looks like the most recent on Wargames Vault). I've played about half a dozen games so far. They give good results and you can add additional chrome as you like. I've used them for the Falklands and plan to use them for French Indo China as well (need to come up with some proper hidden/bush rules tho).

Feel free to PM me with any questions/thoughts on the rules.
