Here goes.

My attempt at an army of Louis XIV collection. Beginning with a couple companies of infantry and some cavalry.

The first company I'm working on is the Grenadier company of the Garde Francais.

12 figure company? My, you will have some big battalions.

12 for now. Eventually 50 men.

24 grenadiers, 2 sergeants. These will complement the 24 grenadiers I already have built/partially painted and complete the company.

I've decided that companies of infantry will be 50 miniatures, and companies of cavalry will be 36 figures.

I've also  brough both current units up to the 50 men for their first companies. i'll probably get these done after the first of the year.

I think the last thing I'm going to paint for the year is this command base.
