I do not disagree that one tends to focus on the minor errors.

My wife, who is an excellent cook, often serves meals while critiquing her product. I have been known to do the same. OH! Forgot the ras el hanout!
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

I have generally been a painter more than a gamer and used to post on Steve Deans Painter Forum before its demise but some years ago work exploded and I basically gave up painting in order to continue. Last Christmas one of my brothers in law gave me some Brigade Games Chosen Men figures, which I seem to remember were sculpted by Paul Hicks. By coincidence I happened to see a couple of old Sharpe TV shows. I have now retired and decided to pick up a brush again.

Hi Eric.  This explains why I haven't seen you around here.   :)

Welcome back to painting.

These look fantastic to me.  Really looking forward to the next figures you paint.
