Is it me or does the period seem to be growing in popularity?

Yes, I think so, this period has been on rise for some months, may be Nick Eyre and the Perries wargaming it with Pike & Shotte epic, or Rob Anderson with his bet on this 1672 war with his Reiver Castings miniatures... I don't know, but I definitely love this colorful uniforms and the compatibility with League of Augsburg War. Cheers
