Rick Priestley / Michael and Alan Perry - on The Lord of the Rings

I recently discovered these two chats about "The Lord of the Rings". I found them quite interesting, perhaps some others here are interested as well.

I went to chat with the Perry twins on their involvement with Lord of the Rings - both from Games Workshop's end in sculpting the Middle Earth range, and also how they came to be involved with Weta and appearing in the movies. The footage also includes some never before seen photos.

A few weeks ago I went to visit Rick Priestley again, this time to chat about Lord of the Rings. He tells how GW acquired the license, how the game was developed alongside the films and as ever, some really fascinating insights, particularly on the fine line between success and disaster for GW at the time.
